However, people may still struggle to vote because of barriers they face from the government, caregivers, and family members. These decisions can range from making simple purchases to managing a budget to talking to a healthcare provider about medical care. Supported Decision-Making is a way people can make their own decisions and stay in charge of their lives, while receiving any help they need to do so.
